Per the FMCSA, “The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that gives employers, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs), and State law enforcement personnel real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations.”
All drivers and DOT number holders are required to register in the Clearinghouse. To request a query on a driver, the driver must be registered so that they can give authorization for any queries to be done.
A Clearinghouse Specialist will call you for additional information for setup. This is for Clearinghouse Registration only, additional fees may apply for queries.
